These were a little stiff at first, like any shoe. It only took a couple days to loosen up some. These are definitely my new favorite pair of shoes. They have lots of ankle support and seemed to be made very well. The wrap around buckle strap can be removed and worn without. It still looks amazing and they are easier to get on and off then.
