6 Inch Side Laced Platform Thigh Boot

Sized up to a 9 and they are very sexy however, I'm a thick girl (10/12 jean) and these didn't have enough string to make it around my thighs. #ThickGirlProblems

First of all I love pleasers and these we’re (as usual) wonderfully made and very cute. However I wish I had ordered a size up. I’m not sure if it’s all of their boots that run small or if it’s just this pair but I’m usually a 10 in pleasers sandals and these were so tight I wish I’d ordered a size or two up. Also I wouldn’t recommend these for thicker girls as the material tends to squeak as I walk. (For perspective I am about a size 10, 5’10 160 lbs)

I got the not-shiny version of these boots. I was worried they wouldn't be tight enough around the calf because I have narrow calves, but the lacing is really forgiving so is good for people with narrow or wide calves. They fit great and are easy to move in. Keep in mind if they are laced tightly, you won't be able to bend your knees very much - I have to unzip them sometimes and actually just got a different pair that ends below the knees for when I need to bend my knees more.
