Cute, but Cheap
This is such a cute style/design I had to have it; I really like the detail on the back of the cape/collar and faux "butt ruffle." I wish it wasn't all one piece and was made with a sturdier fabric. But overall, it is very cute. I took note from Danny's Review and also ordered the Fluffy Layered Petticoat in White, which may be overkill, but I got the look I wanted (the petticoat shows and I'm tall so my rear is partly exposed). It is too big on the top, though. I would have ordered a S, but it was sold out so I went with a M. It fits for pretty well except the back top section which has elastic, but just pools around the midsection on me. I'll probably just take it in a bit there. I'm going to say it's overall true to size since the listing states M fits 10/12 and I wear 4/6, though if I had gotten a S it probably would have been really short on me unless they are all the same length. But I am 5'9" and have a long torso, so pretty much nothing fits me perfectly. Also the little hat is really cheesy and is not much more than decoration, it just kind of sits on the side of your head and if you wanted to wear it out; you'd probably have to bobby pin it to your hair. I also purchased the Beloved Sailor Costume and it was much higher quality, especially the hat included.

Great fun outfit
Bought it for our marina dock party- absolutely cute and sexy as can be. I’m now going to order a few more for the other wives who crew on the boat.
Fun Costume
Runs a bit large on top and definitely needs the petticoat underneath to give the skirt the right bounce, but a great costume nonetheless.
